KC LaCourse is an award-winning Western Poet and motivational speaker. She has created a non-profit “Find Your Journey,” sharing her challenges to motivate teens to find their journey and realize the value they have. Combining her poetry of the old American West and her “never give up” philosophy, KC has found her journey and travels the world performing. A survivor of breast cancer, a learning disability and other challenges, she inspires teens to find their value and believe in themselves. She is the host of bi-weekly Hearts of the West video showcase. She has won the Red Carpet Award (FPCM) from Europe Spirit of the West in 2024 and 2025, Crossroads Ranch Cowboy Gathering 1st place 2022 and 2023, 1st and 2nd place 2025, 3rd and 4th place in 2026, multiple nominations for Female Poet of the Year and Cowboy Poetry Album of the Year, and the Will Rogers Medallion Award for Western Poetry, 1st place in 2025 and 2026.
